understand that I write these things because I care about you guys and
believe it is very important to think about what happens to someone
after they die. Its not something we like to think about and might be
uncomfortable, but it is something we should think about, since 10 out
of 10 people die. The question we should all ask
ourselves is: If what the Bible says is true what happens to me when I
die? The Bible says we will either end up in Heaven or Hell. Where
would you end up? Are you good enough to go to heaven? Questions like
these are what we should be asking ourselves. The Bible gives us an
objective standard to see how we would do? It is the Ten Commandments,
such as: don't murder, don't steal, don't lie, don't commit adultery,
always place God first. Have you ever lied? I have. If you have, what
would that make you? That would make you a liar. Have you ever stolen?
If you have, that would make you a thief. Have you ever murdered? Most
would say no, here's the thing the Bible says God sees the intent of
your heart, so when you hate he sees that as murder in the heart. That
is 3 out of 10. How did you do? The Bible says that God, who created
everything, is a just judge that must punish those who do things that
are wrong(those who break his laws). So if that is the case must send
those who are guilty to Hell. That's sounds really bad, but there is
good news. Two thousand years ago God came down in the form of man as
Jesus Christ to take your punishment, by dying on the cross and then
defeating death by rising 3 days later. In a sense it is like you had a
100 million dollar fine for breaking the law. You either pay the fine
or go to jail, we wouldn't be able to pay that off by ourselves. But
just before the Judge sentences you someone comes in and offers to pay
your 100 million dollar fine so that justice can be satisfied and you
can go free. The Bible says that person who can pay your fine is Jesus.
Despite sinning against Him, God loved you enough to offer you himself
as payment on the cross as a substitute payment. The most important
question we must ask now is, How do I get this payment for my fine? God
promises eternal life to those who confess and forsake their sin and
place their faith in Jesus Christ alone. You must Repent, which means
to agree with God and admit we aren't good and turn from(hate doing)
your sins, the things that offend God. And then put your trust in
Jesus, that his payment was enough for your sins. Please think about
these things, Don't put it off until tomorrow. For tomorrow is promised
to no one. Japanese: この文章を書いて いるのは私が皆さんのことを心から気遣っているからであり、 私 たちが問わなければならないのは、「 |
